CAM is Customer Assistance Matrix.
It is used by dealers to grant goodwill warranty to vehicles that qualify.
If your car has had all the services done by a LR dealer & the owner purchased the car new or inside the warranty period, then the dealer can use their discretion & implement CAM if they wish.
It is designed to help the customer who has a repair issue just outside the warranty period & isn't supposed to be used for minor repairs.
Some items aren't covered under CAM (Batteries for example).
There, does that answer your question ?
