gets the pumpkins up outa the dirt...

if you have a look the center of the traditional swivel housing in one of the pics it looks to be about level with the top half of the rim. given most rovers are on 16 inch rims... thats 8 inches of lift, plus some track width gain for stability.

    once more....

Bad news for the toy is she won't be insurable..my Insurance company says anything more than 50mm for standard is a no go as it fails to comply with the WAPOL law.. no that it will stop me but I would hate to get a yellow sticker (pinky) for some states ..ould an engineers certificate help I wonder..oh well I have till about March next year to work it out as they have none in stock and it will take me that long to ferret the $17000 away for the job..but iteresting for all those with a 3"lift or higher as you are driving without insurance...even if you paid for it..as we all know those bastaards will weasel out of a claim at the slightest provocation

For $17,000 you could buy yourself a whole new car! How come you need these portal things so badly?

Dawg, if you're spending $17000, you might as well spend the $2000 or whatever it is to get the engineer's certification. Then the police and insurance will all be happy!

I suppose there's always the risk of failing the certification, though!
