Hi Cartm58
I think you will find we really enjoy the hammering our esteemed trip leader RichardK loves handing out.
I really enjoy beaches but they really arent challenging compared to a good RichardK spinchter work out.It really improves your off-roading when you get out and do the tough stuff.I can see,and others will have a huge improvement in my Bros skills in a few tough outings.
Best thing about the beaches is the water next to them and the things that dwell there waiting to be caught.I love fishing, but challenged a tad by distance.
Had an awsome trip last easter down to Esperance, got to go off-roading with our 2 locals,Jamo and CraigE,Graz also came down from Perth, and got to do heaps of fishing, catching some yummy Salmon and plenty of other fish, the missus and boy loved it.
Also get to do beach work at Albany at least once a year, met up with Taz last Newyears.
Have done a trip from Lancelin to Cervantes with a few of the guys from here and the "Black Stump" top trip.
Always looking for a fishing/beach trip, just a tad hard when its a 1.5 hour min trip to find the coast(Myallup)

Sand....bout as exciting as watch paint dry for me IMO..most the time I don't even have to drop the air out of the fender.
Richard(tyrepower) sounds ok mate but we only did that one last month I think and it was on a Sunday to help out busy boys like yourself;).. see if you canget a pass to Harvey I would recommend it for all LR owners in WA who have gone before...
I will probably pass on this Harvey trip though as I am working most weekends leading up to my 4 week break over xmas... I did create this thread though with the intentions of keeping the ball rolling with our excursions over here;)
Will keep an eye on this thread to see what happens. Will try and make it along.
Am going to be in Walpole/Denmark/Albany area over the New year period (1st-9th Jan) if any one else is going to be around it might be an opportunity to catch up and wet a line or two.
Cheers Tyrepower.
Sand is for people who fail to negotiate obsticles
Hi Tyrepower
Keep in touch, unfortunately we probably cant make our usual southern trip over xmas/newyear BUT you never know whats around the next corner.
Andrew

I'm happy to go anywhere, (within reason).
As Andy said maybe sometime next month we can have a 'Sleep Over' at Andys !
Well, at this stage, should you accept the challenge, I will lead a hard trip in areas perhaps unknown to some on the 25th at Harvey, ......... should you feel any challenge is more than you would risk there will generally be an easier way around.
This trip will be for serious off road vehicles not softroaders and will require recovery hooks front and rear just in case.................
Andrew, if you can get there you can ride with me if money is a little on the tight side.
If the trip is a goer we will need a chainsaw.
