Ever see the movie "Catch ME if You Can" Leonardo Di Caprio had them all fooled.
Might see about getting an application together.

Mate, put a pair of long pants on me, plus a shirt and tie, and I'd pass muster - especially with a stethoscope around my neck.

    You are absolutely right, mate!!!
This job is likely, as most of those who ever get vacant, a complete rip-off that no-one ever wants to have, not even for all the money you will receive. Before the tax man comes, that is. And on top of it you will have to cover for all expenses yourself and indemnity insurance doesn't come cheap, especially not for surgeons!

Might do the trick, but after your term you'll need four weeks recovery at a Sunshine Coast resort to be -at least- half-human again...

I would have thought the hardest part is 'writing' out one of those perscriptions.

As a matter of interest (excuse the pun), assuming half that pay goes in tax and I 'survive' on $500 a week, and pay for a few extras like rego for the disco, meaning I can only save $12,000 per month this means, at current interest rates and tax rates, I'd have $1million in the bank acount by March 2009.

A house is included, I think. My daughter was in the RMO's quarters at Lightning Ridge as they were vacant. Then a locum arrived so she had to move out.

Yep, accomodation may be arranged by the employer but normally they will charge you a fee for it, like a rent you usually would have to pay for a similar property.

It's not my specialty, otherwise I might get tempted.
    Cheers
