In NSW, cops get booked unless they are on a job. I've heard them call on the radio to tell the radio room that they have operated the camera.

Personally, I have no problem with red light cameras and think all intersections should be so equipped. I don't believe in speed cameras.

When I used to drive or ride into the city, every day I'd see cars run red lights.

Nice try but they fixed that loophole over here if the driver is not nominated by the company the registerd owner/director gets the fine and demerits..Ship rolls downhill and the boss will always stab the worker ants first if he thinks he will get the chop..
