And they start with a newly engineered vehicle from the ground up !
A friend of a friend a few years back bought a brand new 2002 paj and was sprouting all that crap about them winning the ParisDakar, he was soon dissapointed to find bugger all acessories for it and was constantly getting recovered by a beat up gq or defender.

But seriously, they're just so excited and having the time of their lives and that really is all that matters. If only we all got so much fun out doing the simple things hey.

    Baz.
Daily business out of Winton on mail runs with a Valiant ute. Wonder what they would use on the Davenport or Coorabulka mails. Maybe a Chev blitz or a 6x6 Jimmy where we used a two or four ton 4 x 2 Dodge, or 8 ton Commer. My family never had a 4wd on outback mail, cargo, or passenger services from 1916 to 1994.
