    Near miss this morning

    They say everything happens in 3s.
    We had our 3rd trailer go walkies today.
    Heading out to work this morning and get to see a loaded second trailer on a roadtrain go walkies.Woke the fellow workers up in the shire crew cab truck in front of me,a semi wandering at them with no truck pulling it .
    Luckily a 50km speed zone so it stopped pretty quickly by itself.Thank god it didnt happen out of town in the 110 zone,could have easily been a repeat of the recent double fatality.
    This is the 3rd one in as many months,the drawbar sheered off the ringfeeder leaving the second trailer to do its own thing.

    not yet we dont but there is a requirement for crack testing them with something.

    Having been nearly at the brunt of being held resposnable for an accident after someone faked some paper work for a similar sort of incident involving a crane mishap... Its not going to matter what the govenrment mandate, the paper work will just get dodgied up.

    Then when poop turns to clay the guy driving it will get the shaft while the git whose profit squeezing will get away with a slap on the joy department with a wet shoelace. Not to mention the emotional deal of potentially having been responsble for killing people, which will be the drivers lot as well...
