What about Bunya parkland along Old Northern Road Mcdowall, heaps of space for kids (small & large) and parking, it has a few BBQ's.

Some damn good ideas there. My favourites are the Botanical Gardens up near Mt Cootha or Nudgee Beach :)
.. and in answer to your question Pedro_The_Swift, I'm sure we could find room to park 20+ land rovers at Mum's place - though I'm not so sure there'd be much yard left by the time we'd finished :D:cool:
does your mum have a swimming pool otherwise mt cootha sounds good, nudgee could get uncomfortable if the wind blows upQuote:

It's on the Brisbane river, has BBQs, big playground (incl flying fox thing), shelters, heaps of parking, close to Gateway for those coming in from north and Gold Coast. A bit of a beach on the river. Brisbane Range Rover club go there I think. Colmslie fish markets next door for those wanting some seafood.
Its also about 15 min drive from my place.
is that near the hockey? and touch football fieldsQuote:
