Hi Mike,
What are you doing now?
My car is still going good with the chipping. I just love feeding a bit more throttle when taking off and feeling the extra acceleration.
I have been thinking of buying a RRS. Been reading some post on a RRS forum about chipping the TDV6. 250hp and just on the border of produceing smoke.
My dealers got one coming in Jan 07.
Should I or shouldn't I?

It would be great to see an RRS on the forum, and even better offroad, and even better chipped 250hp wow

I'd say go for it Glen!!!

Chipping is a harder excercise on the RRS and D3 but can be done successfully.

But if your in a position to go the RRS, then I would!!!!

G'day Glen, I met your dealer last year at a training course in Perth, he seems like a decent sort of bloke. Nice little town where you are, I passed through about 3 years ago. An ex of mine lived there for a year or so too.

If I had access to the right amount of folding, I would buy a RRS, but the new TDV8 is where I would plant my backside. The only downside would be the standard fitment 19 inch rims, required due to the large brakes.

New price was $1300.00 bar only + extras

Its got extra mountings fitted now for lights etc... and the front recovery loops as well.
