I'm not arguing about the body shape, Numpty's Missus. Check my earlier post about that! I'm just saying that there's a new chassis , new body and new name. In design terms the 110 owes as much to a RRC as it does to a Series III.
If we were being pedantic about Series I to Series II, I'd say they sit on the same chassis despite the styling change.
I do agree with you that they are best handled together - after all, Range Rovers have three completely unrelated designs but would be considered together. The Discoveries would be considered separately to a RRC but are really the same chassis with a different body. Even with three names (Land-Rover, 110, Defender) the utilitarian LR models do have continuity. But what to call them collectively?
