Still my 90 here is out of the box but showed up alot of trucks at Land curser park

But could you see your 90 lasting you for the next 20years?

Put it this way your moving house soon, so am I. How much stuff could you fit in a 90 compared to a 110

If you had children (saying you don't want any doesn't count these things could happen), would you survive with the 90 as your only car?

The 90's limitations far outway the minor offroad benifits (for me anyway)

a short wheelbase will always go further than a long wheelbase modified or not

Hey dobbo not sure if you have had a look in the back of a 90, while it may not have as much room as a 110, i rekon it would still kill a disco or rangie on cargo space,, As for the 2 seater thing - Who needs kids leave em with the grand parents if you have to!

The only real downside i could see with the 90in wheel base is how stable it would be going directly up or down a VERY steep slope with the possibility of an end to end roll, when you compare its stability on side angles etc i wouldnt think it would be any worse the 110?

from what i have seen on the 90 vs 100 vs 110 (and longer patrol) on recent trips is it is more up to the tracks, we did hills that the 90s walked over, 100in struggled and the 110 was worse, then again we did some other stuff that we did easily in the disco's and 110 that the 90 couldnt do at all.

Just thinking of the last 2 trips playing in the quary at wallaroo, it was very interesting to compare the wheel bases. There was one little set of steps that a pretty stock patrol drove without an issue(put the landys to shame on that one ) the 90 didnt have to much trouble but last visit the 110 died on (bellied out on the rear drive shaft)

It would also come down to the driver and how well they know there Vehicle, have you seen anyone really experienced with a 90 put it through its paces?

I realise this perhaps a 90 v's 110 day should be organised

fresh out of the box, as in drive it out of the lot and as yet untouched with the spanners, the 110s are better than the 90's why? because of that Stupid sway bar in the 90s.

disconnect that and if it was just me i'll take the 90...

however, the 110 is IMHO better for towing with, and I feel more comfortable in the 110. Which is strange, I prefer the 88's over the 109's.

go fiqure...

now if we could split the difference....... best of both worlds.

My 110 County had a sway bar - it was standard on Countys
