I've asked daughter to get all the details on the car, e.g., VIN, so I can see if I can get some history on it.
She thinks they said it has only 30,000km on it.
The problem with gassing it is that is the later motor which needs sequential gas injection. That may be feasible in WA with the Federal govt subsidy plus the WA govt subsidy.
The only other car for sale in Derby is a Ford Meteor for $4,000.

The Meteor would want to be gold plated for that price, Ron, or have been owned by Elvis or whatever.....
Remove the zeroes and you're getting close.
Someone here (!!!) bought a not so old P38 for $4000 and it seemed quite nice.
But, unlike a Meteor, they (P38) do have a drinking problem. The Meteor may have other issues, tho', like a new drivetrain.........
