    Sounds like they like their anual fires up there.

    On a serious note. i hope they are going to get it under control soon.

    Personally, I am more worried about the ones closer to me! Two today within 20k, plus one at Wellington, and another rather bad one near Molong. Also, late this afternoon had thunder, lightning - and no rain. With temperatures of 36, humidity in single digits and wind up to 30kts, this does not auger well!

    PS According to the RFS, at 9pm the Mitchell Highway was closed both sides of Molong due to smoke and firefighting traffic.

    ON monday you couldnt see lithgow through the smoke, we have been able to see the pillars of smoke rising above the mountians for a while now, lets hope we get some favouralbe conditions to make things a little easier. Matt
