    Gents,

You'll have to organise this amongst yourselves, I'm afraid. Just finished our dinner party to find that some low-life scum has broken into our house and stolen our car keys and house keys, along with a few other odds and sods. So I'll be stuck here tomorrow organising locksmiths etc. Sorry for the late notice,

    Gordon

    Prior p.s.
I was going to email pics to attendees but I took over 100 pics, so if you PM me your address I’ll post you a CD with them on.

    Hi All
The trip did go ahead and a great day was had by all.
Now I know what real off-roading is about.

I must say though being stranded halfway across a water crossing being stopped by a submerged rock holding up my back diff and rear tyres clear of the track was a bit worrying at the time.
My new diff guards took some punishment, (front and back) and were well worth the money.

We went up several steep and rutted tracks that I wouldn’t have normally gone up and to be honest I was surprised I made it up in one piece. I was very impressed with the Rangie.

I should say a special thanks to the human GPS and for the steady supply of donuts. J

I will post a few pics later, I’ll try to do it tomorrow from work

    Hi all,

Glad the trip ended up okay! I would far rather have been there than stuck up here filling out insurance claims and police reports

Hopefully you can assuage my pain of missing out by posting a few pics!!

    Cheers,

    Gordon

It was great to meet some new people, and was an enjoyable day!

Belly, I now have also bent a heavy duty steering track rod. It was only a very small bend, but I needed to adjust toe in/out after getting home. The bend is not noticable with the naked eye...only with a straight edge, so I won't replace it.

I do have a slight pull to the left when driving now though. I thought it might be a front radius or rear trailing arm getting bent, but they look ok. A mystery yet to be solved.

I was happy with my new tyres that I spent good money on.....that is until Belly and 90 pulled up next to me...Grrrr. Nah, I'm still happy with them!

    Cheers
    Andre
