Barrington Tops sounds a distinct possibility - aren't the tracks just really steep round there though?

Hi Panda, there are gold panning type activities at Hill End on the other side of Sofala, you could go in Via Turon Gates and travel through that way, its a very nice drive. There is also a gold mining museum type thing on Mount Panorama the top end of Conrod Straight. Matt
