2 - That sounds like waaaaaaaaaay too much hard work. Why not just pick one of the many existing ones. If you want to change it a little then join the committee.
3 - I would not join a particular club if I didn't like the people or what they did. However as I said above I would just move on to the next one if it was a bad club and didn't want to try and change it.
4 - Being around like minded people.
5 - Mixed. It is good to see how the different vehicles handle different terrain. Plus you don't need to leave the club if you change the make of vehicle you drive. Our club has a lot of Cruisers and Patrols but we have about 5 Discos and 1 Rangie in the club now. The member list mentions a Series and a Defender too but I have never seen them. Being in a one make club would be good for getting a lot of make specific info but that is what I use AULRO for.
