WA trip to Harvey last weekend

    Hi All

I thought I'd share a few pics from the trip mentioned in this post :
    http://www.aulro.com/afvb/showthread.php't=32407&page=2

    In the post I said:
    Prior p.s.
I was going to email pics to attendees but I took over 100 pics, so if you PM me your address I’ll post you a CD with them on.

    Hi All
The trip did go ahead and a great day was had by all.
Now I know what real off-roading is about.

I must say though being stranded halfway across a water crossing being stopped by a submerged rock holding up my back diff and rear tyres clear of the track was a bit worrying at the time.
My new diff guards took some punishment, (front and back) and were well worth the money.

We went up several steep and rutted tracks that I wouldn’t have normally gone up and to be honest I was surprised I made it up in one piece. I was very impressed with the Rangie.

I should say a special thanks to the human GPS and for the steady supply of donuts. J

I will post a few pics later, I’ll try to do it tomorrow from work

Looks like great fun. Just have a few Q's:

    When is the next trip?
    Whereabouts is Harvey exactly?
Who owns the cool 110 dual cab?

Harvey south east from Perth about 2 hours drive

Nice area if you like stoned fruit

Good forest areas by WA standards

As for the next trip that I know of is Jan 2nd, but it's further north from wanneroo to Seabird/Lancelin or there abouts.
Much different terrain and easier going.

    Next Harvey trip, not sure.
Just keep an eye on the forum you will see a post some where.
RichardK started the last thread for a Harvey trip.

Andy: yes it's a nice area, and excellent off road stuff albeit challenging

Glad you guys were able to have a great day, it is probably the best hard 4wding area around Perth.
When it cools down a bit I'll try and organise another day that murphys law won't intervene!
