Question HELP! Any one know anything about ALKO Suspensions?

    G'day All

I'm seriously entertaining the purchase of a camper and I've found one that has an ALKO suspension under it.

Anyone got any knowledge of these and any "war stories"

    Cheers

these setups have been in my life for the ast 7 years.
80% of our towable compressors at work have this type of suspension. almost everything in our fleet that has been made in europe have them.

all i can say is i have only ever had to service one unit, and that was from a wheel bearing destroying the stub. when that happens you have to replace the whole stub, backing plate, drop arm assy.

spose what im saying is they are almost industructable.

    cheers phil

one of my clients is a very well known caravan repair business, the owner swears by the alko suspension setup.... he knows his gear, so i would be feeling secure with it.

    G,day.
The Alko suspension is top stuff. Excellent for offroad work.
I have an old 14' poptop. We have to go down to Kangaroo Island in
February. When we get back I will be fitting an Alko to the thing.
On a van its better to fit a shocky as well !

Remember, the Alko is tailor made for the weight of the camper, trailer
or van its going on, give or take a few kilo's !
    Dont take pot luck.
    Cheers.
