G'day All, I did this conversion years ago to my 110 and I didn't use any oriental junk to do it, it's neat, it cools the footwell area, and yes it does let water in under very heavy rain whilst driving, but I'm just a dope when it comes to posting pix so I can't show it to you all, unless some-one PM's me with an email address who can post pix cheers Dennis:wasntme:
PS Yes it was.
PPS yes the area where it is situated is double panelled but a distance piece is the order of the day and I've not experienced any dust problems with the vent.
The air vents are ducted to the foot well, why not try fitting a scoop (air ram) to your air intake on the LH wing, and see whether this improves airflow before you go cutting holes.

Dont Landrover make special leaks to cool your feet in Series and Defender models, all you need to do is visit Frenchie to buy the optional thundercloud to tow around to make the foot cooling system work all the time.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D
