It appears our new (old) D1 has received it's nick name already, after 1 week of ownership.
Poomba appears to be sticking like S*#t to a blanket.
I did make the mistake of asking why,,, named by a mates son,,, after the fat little creature in the lion king (I now have to watch the movie to see if this is an insult) ???????

My 81 SIII is named 'Yellow Peril' ,a name that has carried on from its previous owner.

We called our Disco Ezekiel.
Its rego starts with EZK so it sort of made sense.

Truckasaurus II

My D2 Disco is called 'Teflon' since after a hard weekend of 4x4ing it still looked clean.

Blue '91 V8 Disco - George (something from a Bugs Bunny cartoon) blokes at work call it 'Darren the dunga Disco' or 'pommie piece of sh#t' ...but what would they know!!
Had a white S3 swb from '92 to '01 called Wendy - when I was building and re-building it mum used to always say, 'When d'you think that will be on the road?' ....the 'When d'you' became Wendy.

My ex & I always named the cars tho the Landy still anon. She has a 2 ser Volvo she calls Barry for goodness sake!

My 54 Series one named the Blue Streak, why? for one its a crappy French Blue colour and secondly, its has holden donk so its streaks past the others, well thats the theory anyway.
