All my 6 LRs had names:

SIII ex-Mil GS: "Gumby" - it was green and err, gumby
S2A 5 door wagon: "Moby" - white, bounced around a lot and was bald (no paint on the roof)
Disco 300 Tdi: "Simba" - the white lion
    Stage 1 4.6L V8 ute: "Hercules" - it pulled like a train
'94 RR: "Audrey" - large, heavy boned aristocratic english lass who would've liked horses
2A SWB Diesel: "Gromit" - a carryover from the previous owner

I call my Landy "Daisy" cause she is yellow.
My mate calls her "The Plough" cause she just ploughs through anything.

My Rodeo is called "The Pretender" cause it looks like a 4wd goes like a 4wd but it isn't.
