G'day All
This thread intrigues me.
I could have sworne on a stack of bibles that I contributed to this thread about a year ago but can find no evidence of it.
The other interesting thing about it is that there is a 367 day gap in the posts between December 2006 n December 2007
So for those who don't alread know the 110 is known as "Princess Fiona".:p
The logic is, (pay attention) its large, green and happiest in a swamp. Now I could have called it Shrek but it can be a bitch of a thing at times so its gotta be a girl eh! :wasntme:
Cheers, A
Mine is called, HangOver, I'm sure you've seen it on a Range Rover before but if not, think about it.
Oh and the fact that it usually drives like it's suffering from one:D
Very interesting names.....We call ours "the beast" just like my call name. And just another addition..... we call our GPS "geepers".
At the moment the landy is called just about anything that is not allowed to be printed here because she is being a bitch. I usually call it "the old girl" which can be a bit confusing at times, oh and we called the GPS Betty
Blitz
I'm not really into naming my truck...
but my Patrool mate calls his Red Traytop ute " The Fire Truck"..
now..
If i place a name on mine wouldn't it hurt her feelings..the Truck that is?
my 59 swb is called "Daddy" so i suppose the 95 lwb should be called "Big Daddy" but "Tube" (The Ugly Big Esky)" seems to be becoming more popular.
SWMBO named my 130 'Cane Toad' - Green, ugly (to some) and will cover Australia.:D:D:D
