If, as I suspect, others give their LR's a name - lets hear it.

My (to be) 2007 Defender has been christened prior to even owning it - its Grover (as in Grover Land Rover!)
    Hay,

The series 3 in the back yard is called Lewis and the Disco 2 hasn't been in the family long enough to have a history to hang a name on.

My Disco's name is Nat, after Nat Buchanan, the drover.
It's a lifestyle sort of thingy.
Most of the time I just call him, Mate.
    I love my Mate !

Stage 1 ex-army V8 is George, after one of the mechanics who worked on 'em.

Well my signature says it all.

I've got Sally Anne sickers on either side of the bonnet.

    Best pic I could muster.

IMHO, Discovery and Range Rover can be female. Defender always male. That's how I feel them

Your call, Ruslan. Just depends on preference really, doesnt it - and whether you get into women or men on a daily basis. Me, I'll stick to climbing into my lovely champagne lady

Haven't owned mine long enough yet. When I walk up to it with 13yp son intow who is beaming ear to ear - then I call it a load of British rubbish or LR (load rubbish for short), just to stir him. But when out on a bush track we concur that it just makes eats up the track.... maybe Jaws. ... perhaps we'll call it 'Deep Blue' because of it's colour. Who knows ... or 'Obie' because it's just an old oil burner. But then again it might end up just being called Disco just like all the others. Not very original, just as we have subarus all called Ruby. And an old tom cat called Tom......
