    What's your LR's name?

OK - We've got a thread going concerning member's screen names and how they came about. But does anyone give their vehicle(s) a name or is it just me and my wife that are nuts?

If, as I suspect, others give their LR's a name - lets hear it.

My (to be) 2007 Defender has been christened prior to even owning it - its Grover (as in Grover Land Rover!)
    2007 Defender 110
2017 Mercedes Benz C Class. Cabriolet
    1993 BMW R100LT
    2024 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black

My wife calls my Disco 11, Bottom - short for bottomless pit, where endless amount of time, energy and money is thrown down it - in the way of petrol, toys, small repairs, more toys etc.,

..............but I think the wife is just jelous - as I spend more time with Bottom than I do with here

.............can't see why there should be a problem

    Errr..... which one?

Wlilbur is our S2B Forward Control, Leo is a TD5 Defender 130, Livingston is a 300tdi 130 Defender, Clancy an '87 Range Rover, Zeus is a P38A Vogue and last but not least, Gulliver is a Series 3 SWB diesel. Gulliver Travels - nearly 500,000 k's to date.

Recently departed to ease our move interstate is Colonel Guthrie the 101, Claude the S2B mobile home, Claudette the S3 campervan, Hector the County campervan and last but not least, Caspian the 2-door Rangie, who like Gulliver, travelled - 590,000 k's and still going like a train!

Aren't they nice? Of course they should have names.

Not really names, just red truck and green truck - might get a bit confusing when I paint the 110 green too!

A mate of mine likes to name his LRs and tries hard to come up with names based on movies or other things. He had a red 110 which he nicknamed the "Killer tomato" after the B movie "attack of the killer tomatoes" - but everyone else started calling it "red october" after he did a very good job of trying to drown it.
