Subscriberhad the Auditors in at work, both female, and when I was introduced I shook their hand, they both seemed a trifle unacustomed to this, so poses the question, whats the accepted norm for blokes being introduced to women in a business setting, do you proffer the hand or just say "Hello."

Maybe I'm showing my age, but it was always accepted that if the woman initiated the handshake, then fine.
If she didn't you didn't, but offered a polite greeting & welcome.
If she didn't, maybe she may have glimpsed you picking your nose, exiting the Gents still tucking yourself in, scratching your ****/balls etc.

Seriously, they may have looked strange 'cause they were chicks! There's still a lot of men around here who ignore women and only talk to the bloke! Drives my wife nuts!
