this was caused by a mate of mine, made the TV News etc.. He is a bird breeder, and just wanted some cuttlebone for his budgies.( if you cant read it somebody tell me how to make it readable.)

    What a load of bollocks!!!
We are getting so ridiculously over the top with this stuff it's incredible. Is a residence or anything else in Minyama really that much of a target? PUulleeeasse, people need to CHILL OUT and get some perspective.
WTF would they do in a real situation or a "hotspot" FFS.

Soon we'll have TRG, SAS, and emerg. services on every nature strip decontaminating and securing every powdery white dog turd

what do you expect when a govt commits us to buying the latest most expensive piece of stealth jet fighter, l mean we are supposedly fighting terrorists, didnt know any of them had supersonic fighters capable of flying to oz and blowing us up thought they had speedy camels and motorbikes and the 4wd ute with gun on back.

Defence budget being wwasted on hi tech toys yet we are facing low tech fighters who are opportunity strikers

problem is no one is thinking anymore and when they do its goes to the red card first

thats the problem when USA imposes its ridiculous terrorism requirements on all its trading partners saying unless you comply dont bother coming or sending anything

its one knee jerk over reaction after the next

in the 30 years after the aircraft hi-jacking to middle east and cuba how many planes were hi-jacked with nail clippers, files and scissors to justify the clamp down on hand luggage.

they are removing our civil rights under the pretence of defence

    Agreed....totally

The latest restrictions for air passengers announced this week was for all liquids, ect are to be in a clear resealable plastic bag.

The enforcement of the law will not begin until March 1st.

So all you terrorist better get cracking before your time runs out

    Cheers.

There was a funny, similar situation here a while back - a primary school kid threw away his art project after getting a bad mark for it... only one problem, he threw his matt black painted basketball with bits of wire hanging out of it away at the loading bay of a shopping centre... the bomb squad etc came along and blew it up

It makes you wonder doesnt it. All you have to do is turn up with Talcum powder and people would think youre a terrorist! Wonder what magical new hi tech device will be brought?

hahaha!...i remember that incident ,,so thats what it was all about, quite a commotion , just down the other end of our road.

and here i was thinking theyd uncovered a nest of tobacco addicts having a sneaky puff on the footpath and were being decontaminated before they could cause a few more species of mammals to become extinct.

all those hey-hey ho-ho dipsticks who were falling over in the streets covered in red dye in the 60's demos have passed the tin foil hat syndrome onto their offspring.
