Poor old bugger must have ***** his pants. Can't really miss a disco in the rear view mirror.
Good to hear all is well.
You wouldn't read about it....
Like most blokes... I love going christmas shopping..... not.
Anyway I drive up the road near my place heading to my favorite christmas activity... pull up behind a little red korean style 4cylinder thing waiting at the stop sign... lots of traffic on the highway.
Been waiting about a minute or so.... looking hard right... waiting for the traffic with my foot firmly on the brake...
BANG!.. I look forward and bugger me
there hard against the bull bar is the buzz box that was 4 foot in front of me.
It turns out the old bugger driving it had got the sh!ts with waiting for the traffic... thrown it in reverse and promptly slammed straight back.... Before he noticed my DiscoSilly old bugger
Bloody glad I didn't stop 5 metres behind him.... he might have been doing 40 when he him me
His wasn't too bad... buggered rear bar... and a mark on the boot.
Now I have to find that matt black paint...
At least it made the shopping trip a little more exciting....

Had a near miss on the way into town on Tuesday - saw a roo coming from the left and braked heavily - he went over the bonnet, clearing it by about two feet. Very close to where one ran into the side behind the rear wheel about twelve months ago.

Had something very similar happen to me recently in my Disco. Had reversed out of a shopping centre parking spot and was just about to turn to wheels and head of down to the aisle when I noticed a commodore with a P plate on it behind my start to reverse too.
Now Im thinking to myself...he sees me...how can he not see me? Meanwhile he just keeps on reversing. I start honking my horn and was just about to select first and move back in when he hit me.
Justiably being p!ssed off I came out yelling! The poor P plater never even saw me and looked like he only had his licence for about a week! The young fella went white when I got out of the car! lol
He ends up with a pretty messed up rear corner panel...I just had a minor scratch to the plastic bumper. I was sorta hoping he had knocked it off as the girlfriend says I cant get a replacement heavy duty one until I knock this one off...been trying too! lol
Its hardly worth me taking it any further given the damage to the bumper...

Makes you wonder sometimes. Had a buz box try to change lanes on thursday while I was next to it. They got half way over before discovering my side steps almost in their window. Very amusing to see them almost loose it as they swerved away.
I love that look...... or the look you get when your towin a small trailer behind a deefer (might work on a disco or a rangie) and your leading the pack up a hill with oncoming traffic and a p plate yobbo ricer tries to pass you expecting your going to run out of puff on the hill... only to get along side the drivers side to find out that they are running out of steam in the riceomobile and thats a very very unforgiving road train bull bar heading for their front bumper

I can almost understand someone missing a Disco in the rear vision mirror, but I had someone miss seeing my Series III LWB. Since it was the standard yellow colour I would have thought that was a bit hard.
The other driver's response was also a bit hard to fathom.
I had been waiting at the only set of traffic lights in Yass when a sedan began to reverse out from an angle park on the other side of the road. As I was on the other side of the road, I had no reason to assume I was in any danger. However the driver just kept coming and collected the back right hand corner of the SIII.
In the time it took me to undo my seat belt, the driver had calmly selected a forward gear and driven off as if nothing had happened.
I was so astonished that I didn't think to look at the rego of the other vehicle. In any case the damage to the Landrover was barely visible so I would not have pursued it anyway.
I did have the satisfaction of seeing a good sized dent in the boot of the car as it drove off.

The real facts..................
The old codger was waiting and waiting...... so you got fed up with him, reversed back and took a run up to punch him thru the gap.
