Never Seen the show, Never want too see the show, HATE THE SHOW!!!!!!
My last job with Telstra required me to occasionally travel to various Asian cities for meetings. Usually, I'd be the only Anglo at the meetings (of around 100 or so delegates). The problem is that I really don't like real Asian food - particularly seafood - it stinks (which is symbolic in a way - a lot of my time in Telstra was dealing with problems with commercial fishermen trawling over international submarine cables).Quote:

My boss took the good gigs like the UK, Europe, the USA. I always got Asia and Asia stinks.

I've told people that they are not welcome in my workplace when they swear. In fact, I won't let some in. I've told them I find it extremely offensive. I don't swear beyond bloody and bugger.Quote:

and as fugly as it is, the fish on Iron Chef (which looked like some sort of deep ocean bottom dweller) was way way less attractive.
Oh the catfish above has been served here in many fish and chip shops under various names, one of the reasons for the recent crackdown you may have noticed at your local fisho on consistent naming of fish.
Imagine the ****e that fish has been swimming around in, then ask yourself you want to eat it !
Why would I be a Vet ? And If I was a vet that specialised in Mekong catfish would that make me a Vietnam vet ?
(sorry guys, no offence intended to anyone, just a poor joke I couldn;t resist).
VladTapes you are a champ - awesome piccie of that Mekong Catfish.
Everytime I metion to my mum i had fish, or fish and chips she WITHOUT FAIL makes a crack about it being a Mekong Catfish - never seen what they look like till now - now I am scared - big buggers. ANd thinking of the stuff they would be swimming in - NO, I would not choose to eat one:spudnikhurler: .
Looks like the people in the photo have caught them in a large puddle in someones back yard...(noticed the fence)
There is a time and place to swear. When I was working as a baker I used to be careful when the shop girls were present but some blokes are just downright grubs and say all sorts of charming expletives (use your imagination).Quote:
