Hi Doug
I have 255/70 Cooper STs on my Disco2 which are slightly bigger than the size you mention.Dont rub at all, even when the worn standard springs were still on.

Hi All
Can you run 245/70/16 tyres on a disco without any problems up until now I have been running standard size tyres on the disco but when i checked the Pirelli the closest size they have in the Scorpion ATs is 245/70/16.
Regards
Doug

Doug, Yes I have that size on right now with no problems on road at all, mine still has standard springs. But off road on full flex sometimes they will pickup the rear guard but I still got by without the camel cut. So YES is the answer.
Hi QSDT
Dougs is a Disco2,they have a bit more room around the wheelarches than the Disco1,so he should be fine off-road.

I have 265/75/16 Yokoharma's on my D2.
I have had no problems with rubbing.
I would like to go bigger but I don't want to cut.
