    Land Cruiser Car Wash............ Opps

Yes the clown jumping in to help is me.......

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hw2tgyFfilg

    the story.....

Coopers Creek camping ground.... Nov 06
we play here alot and the river has a hole we3 knew about, but due to a river being a river, it changes. The hole is closer now than it used to be. you used to be able to drive right thru there......

And after 1.45 hours we got it going......
next day and many hours of cleaning, drying and oil changing we drove it back to melb.

What got wet............ EVERYTHING, including the headlining

Yes we should have walked it 1st.....
ohh the Big rock on the other side has my name on it, or should i say, Camila's Tailshaft.

I suspect much of the 'reputation' (derisive) of the 'fabulous' Land Cruiser has to do with those who operate them.

Like the porcupine and the Porsche joke.

I still don't get why people do this and then wonder why they're in the pooh...

Why Thank you, i always love the generousity of those who care.....

Cost to fix or loss of $$$$

radiator split between the auto and the coolant.......... we did not find that until 8 litres of trany fluid later it was still pink and milky..... we were flushing it when we found out about the radiator prob, it took at the end 28 litres of tranny fluid to flush it.
the rear diff got no water in it, fuel tanks took no water.

Laptop, 1 GPS's, 2 PDA's, 2 mobile phones, Stereo with bling subby ect... DVD player's, UHF, CODAN ..... lots of toys..... only thing not wet...... 1 sleeping bag that was floating down the river.

That cruiser has a 6" suspension lift, 2" Body and 38" MTR's its big....
When i was helping putting the 1st strap on (AR we could not get the pin in as the ARB straps are too big for receiver hitch's. Well done ARB..... so i grabbed my winch ext strap and used it. We were treading water at the back and my guess was it was about 7-8 foot deep.....

When we pulled it out you can see it flots off again on the 1st pull..... it was on a rock, how much further would it have gone down????

Jamie (owner) was embarressed and upset and he took the Crown from me on Swimming 4wd's............
He was lucky when you think about it...... if it had been a deisel the cost would have been shocking after that drink.....
