    A twin turbo V8 diesel with ONLY 200KW, sounds a tad low for a new generation V8 diesel,or is it like the chev V8,a petrol engine re-engineered to run on diesel?????

    Dont forget power is a component of RPM and Torque.

    200kw and 700Nm would be quite achieveable.

    Yeah all cruiser's even the spy shots of this new one look like carmys on steriods. Like sh#t really.

    As I said in the other thread I reckon regardless of looks its the new four door troopie that will be a winner for them.

    The new Blandcruiser looks like ****e. The new Troopy wagon might be ok though.

    New Cruiser has 2 turbo's.
    The new Troopy will have the same V8 but only one turbo.
    Probably be a pretty good unit.

    Doesn't seem much over the TDV8 which is also rather thirsty (at least on the specs). The only significant thing I think is they are going to use the Kinetic suspension system. Watch the Mitsubishi's in the Dakar next week, they've run the raid version for some years and it is quiet remarkable, about time it trickled into the general commercial market.

    AFAIK, they (Mitsubishi and Citroen) aren't allowed to run the Kinetic suspension in FIA events anymore.....
