Taking a 2a to Sydney should be a pleasent experience if it is the Shorty with the 4cyl should be not probs she will sit on 90Klms for hundreds of miles providing the Radiator is OK, and you have fitted a new Thermostat 82degrees, have spare belts, bulbs, fuses, radiator hoses and gasket goo (permatex No3 non hardening) and treat you gear box and transfer to a tube of "Wynns Gear Oil Treatment" in a tube, works wonders quietens them right down about $10+ a tube but well worth it.
