    Towbar blues

On the new year beach run I couldn't find my towbar tounge or the locking pin. I am now quite certain that some loving member of the public decided I would be better off without it.

Maybe they needed it to save the world and thought I wouldn't mind! Just another case of a loving and caring world we live in.

I just spent around $400 getting a nato hitch and hayman adaptor etc to tow a 4 ton boat, I also spent around $30 on a locking pin so no-one else can borrow it. Got the locking pin from my local TyrePower . Just think you may run into them one day ... pref with a bullbar

Get a locking pin. These things go missing all the time.

Did you know you can now be fined (in NSW) for leaving a removable tow bar fitted when not towing?

    no.....

i leave it on for parking reasons......and a bullbar on the other end....same reason...

i had a capella which had literally shrunk 3 inches from all the others parking infront and behind it.....
and parts for them are pretty much non-existent these days......thats probably the reason for lurch......

thats tow bar works wonders on the back of lurch.....the chrome on those tow balls is almost impossible to scratch off.....

its great fun watching people try though......
