All welcome, you need to book ASAP as all the good accom is filling fast, spent ages on the phone today.
If any of you want budget family acomm,we have booked in to Esperance Challet Village(ph 90711861),not the ritz or anything but comfortable clean and around $300 a week cheaper than everyone else.Old putt putt and other stuff to keep the kids busy,Lindsay enjoyed it last time. They still have a couple of units available.
The esperance visitors centre has a good guide/booking service www.visitesperance.com
Last year we met up with Graz and travelled down together, anybody wishing to join our convoy is welcome.
Jamo and CraigE will be apointed tour leaders once we are down there.
Graz and I are hoping to get stuck into the Salmon again.
All welcome more details as we get closer.

At this stage....count me in! I will bring the camper trailer though so will stay at caravan park or similar. Any recommendations from those down there? (Assuming they all haven't been washed away!!).

    Esperance Easter

    Hi Frechie

I have booked in at the Esperance Sea Front Caravan Park
( Ph 9071 1251 ) A nice park right on the sea front. If you camp there recommend asking for a site next to the Office like I DID, You get unobstructed sea views.
They still had powered sites available this afternoon.
The park is pretty central to everything.

I am towing my camper trailer down as well. Hope I don't cop the head winds I got last year as I really guts the fuel as Andrew can attest to.

    Cheers

Go with what Graz says. Frenchie.

The others are all pretty good but the Seafront has the best views.

Andrew, Bandy Creek is a bit different now!. The floods washed past the weir and now all the fishing boats are sitting in sand!

    Hi Jamo
Waiting to see it on the news.
Had a great offer to stay at Craigs, but if the weather was bad and the inlaws were down it could be a crowded house.
Hope you and Craig are going to get out with your spades and buckets and fix the beach erosion just good enough to get some Landies on the beach.
Looking forward to easter, will put an OFFICIAL trip notice up in the Wa trips section so Dobbo dont call it a gathering
PS All you easterntaters are welcome, aint too far from Whyalla Mr Tombraider!!!!!
Craig and Jamo, perhaps you guys could arrange a daytrip further east than we went last time.

    Bandy Creek Boat Harbour

Evidently they are going to wait for the water to subside, then re-build the weir and then bring in excavators to re-dig the harbour. The normal dredge can't handle it.
