Hi Adam, great to here that someone's finally got the balls to start an Aussie Land Rover mag (can I say balls!!!) I'm sure that AULRO and the broader Land Rover community will support your venture.

As for mag content, I would like to see primarily Aus and NZ content covering all types of Land Rover vehicles and activities. And don't go up the same track as the English mags by flooding it with ad's.

Anyway good luck with the mag and keep us informed of its progress.

I agree entirely. I realise ad's pay for the magazine but it really pees me off when you fork out $x and all you get is a few articles and the rest is just a catalog.

But a large add section is ok as long as there is plenty of quality articles co justify the purchase price.
Would be interested to see the pricing and the mag.

Won't be back by then anyway. Senior management (CFO) extended my contract for another month so I am staying here in the Land of Cuckoo Clocks and Chocolate for a bit longer.

By the sounds of thing looks like you have everything sorted. I would strongly suggest you support this site financially since you expect contributions form this lot and advertise here as well.

I think (for whats its worth) that ad's do have a place as long as there is ALOT more than the ads....I also like lots of catalogue's to see whats out there , get ideas and to find new contacts to shop around with & haggle with ........ads arent all bad , at least the Aussie Ad's will be in AU $'s so I dont get a headache trying to convert back

Sounds good I've been looking for a OZ mag, overseas ones just aren't the same.

I always think at the newsagents $11!!!
