Shame Len doesn't have an alloy one anymore, I think it would be a lot better than a glass unit. Have to have a look on the UK sites me thinks.

Yep looks good, even like the colour. I do agree with demountable rod holders.
Check out the new X-Lights at X-eng in the UK (www.x-eng.co.uk) should be able to fit lots of them, little things only 50mm or so in diameter, clamp to the front of a roof rack, really bright, really, really bright little lights.
