I find the idea a bit sick. Recycle the car and remember Brocky for what he was very good at, getting to the flag with the black and white squares first, not an accident that ended in his death caused by his decaying reflexes.

From what I read, the bloke who owns the car is thinking of rebuilding it for display in his personal collection. He already has a replica or P. Brocks first race car, and many others that he drove over the years. I can't see what the issue is, apart from the feller having too much cash.
Feds should buy it or CAMS. Clean it up, lap of honour at the begining of every V8 Race this year as a reminder to everyone regardless of age/experience it only takes a split second to loose control, no matter how good you are/think you are.
You could not buy advertising that would have the same impact on drivers. As said before Brocky was heavily involved in road safety, sure he would approve
It was an accident that happened in a race.
These have happened many times over the ages and will continue to happen as drivers try to get that extra bit.
It's sad ,I was a Brocky fan,not a holden fan although I owned a couple of Toranas in my early driving days.
These I replaced with Fords.

I think that its a good idea that it is rebuilt and also a good idea to do a lap of honour or as a reminder maybe just for Bathurst. Charging to see that car specifically is a bit tacky, though charging to see his collection although a bit arrogant is fine.
In a sense though no different charging to see the collection. I wonder how many inspiring drivers bought his old cars along the way to fund his career? Don't agree with charging to see his "death" car but if it is just the charge to see the collection then I think that is fair enough. He's had to fork out to buy and maintain them
