Nice car mate, you'll have to bring it out on a run sometime to show us all how it goes offroad.

Do you have any comment about LRA's effort (or lack of it ) at the expo !

They offloaded a lot of old out of date posters, what more do you want? It's what was expected by me. You might of noticed your car was the newest in AULRO and all the general exhibit area. LRA of recent times like all manufacturers aren't really interested in expo's and such unless they have a secure sale. The expo is for enthusiasts, like you and I, the average soccer mum wouldn't know what a dif lock or a mud terrain looks like. I'd say we were lucky to get the Defender and Freelander 2 there, the mil spec ones were missed this year.

LRA provided the 6x6, the defender, the big land rover tent, the countless boxes of hats, posters, bug repellent. it is their presence that encourages trivet to come along.
they hired the TV's to show the endless DVD's on.
what they send out in the way of cars, is purely what's available at the time in australia.
the LRPV that was there last year has been to england and back since last years expo and has been chopped to a ute by the R & D guys in the uk. this sort of thing is going on all the time and we just have to take what comes.

I reckon we did well to have LR there. They don't go to the 4WD, Caravan and Camping Show at Rosehill and that's a damn sight bigger than the LR Expo - and with exposure to non-LR owners who might buy a new car.

PS I was happy to get some posters and the video.
