Reminds me of a funny incident....
Years ago when I was into caving I went with a mate to a cave near Jurien, accessed via a sandy track. He insisted on bringing his Telstar along the track to the point where he got bogged.
We continued in my SIIA, did the cave then I hooked up the snatch strap to pull him out backwards.
Once I got going I thought may as well just tow him back to the road. Got up to about 40-50kmh, no worries, every time I looked in the mirror he was in the middle of the track and seemed to be ok. Turns out he was bouncing from one side of the track to the other, spending considerable amounts of time in the bush. Leaning on the horn but I couldn't hear him.![]()
When we got back to the road he crawled out of his car, literally in a cold sweat, never seen anyone look that grey.
Laugh?.......we nearly.......![]()
