Youtube would have to be one of the first places for Police to check for information. It was stated in the media that after the riot in Noble Park McDonalds, the Police viewed many videos on Youtube and offenders were identified.

I chat with some members interstate and they too have used such a medium to assist in their investigations. Certain videos from a certain nationality group in Sydney really concern me - and I don't even live there. Their Youtube vids show them with various longarm firearms and pistols and performing acts of violence and criminal damage.

As stated in a previous post, hope they rate in the Darwin Awards soon or at least grow up. Karma might just be around the corner -

I find the easiest way to avoid bragging about doing illegal stuff is to actually not do illegal stuff in the first place!

What i think is ridiculously funny about all this is the abject stupidity of the bragger. And in this electronic new world he is not alone. There are so many complete idiots demonstrating their (often illegal) skills behind the wheel.

The cops should have booked the dude for idiocy and stupidity.

    Cop: Good evening sir
    Dill: Something wrong officer?
    Cop: Yes - you're being charged - you're an 813....
Dill: An 813? Nothing wrong with my car....
Cop: An 813, sir, is a charge of idiocy.
Dill: What's idiocy? Nothing wrong with my car...
Cop: And an 814 - that's for being stupid.....

"Roadnazi" on the outer limits forum freely admits he is a traffic cop. Most police would turn a blind eye when not on duty and he seems a sensible person who gives advice about legal issues when he feels he is qualified to do so.

I doubt very much Police would be interested in this website for any operational reasons unless of course they owned on themselves.

BTW. I'm sure places like youtube would be great to view footage of incidents but at the end of the day bringing such evidence to court would be a gerat challenge.

Maybe so, but as an example, parks officers are able to look as well, in case anybody does any 4x4ing in the wrong areas.

Was that in the series, as the pic in your avatar, uncle?

Should've contested it - we all know they're forever stuck in low range and wont do more than 40km/h
