Holy crap a legitimate work related question for
AULRO.
I am desigining an insert for a circular fountain with a central circular pillar(think of a donut). As it is prexisting I only have the circumference of the centre pillar to work out the radius and diameter of the pillar. So if circumference of a circle = 2x pi x radius, can I calculate the radius if I know the circumference by going
radius = Circumference divided by 2 x pi.
It works on a calculator but would like to know before I order the fabrication.
PS. Our engineer has never heard of pi.
