Live in Brisbane's Eastern suburbs. Ordered tank( 3600 litres) Friday two weeks ago, delivered the following Monday.Got quotes from concretors and had slab laid last Tuesday. Stood up tank and did the plumbing myself last Thursday. Tank $1135, slab $420, pipes and fittings $150, rebate anticipated $1500.

It hasn't been mooted yet in QLD but it's only a matter of time.

That's exactly what they are doing in the Southern States. Friends of ours who live in the Taylor's Lakes area in Melbourne said that they now have to pay higher water bills as they put in a tank and claimed the rebate.

    Exactly as Ali said.

Their advice - don't claim the rebate. If it happens you will save that over time anyway.
