I've managed to crack an OEM rim, but I hit something.
I also just has to replace one of my offroad alloys, 'cause it has cracked clean through one of the spokes. They're seeing if performance will replace that as I didn't hit anything. It looks like it was a fault in the rim.
This thread is beginning to confirm my prejudice in favour of steel wheels!
(Mind you, I've seen some of them crack too!)

Ray, I 'd have a word with ROH for a number of reasons.
You've said all have cracks, which would seem that the problem is not so much user abuse as a fault in the batch casting. (A wheel on a 4wd must be able to cope with the work it is intended for).
By making the fault public you may well save the life or lives of others who are running the same or similar, type of wheel.. (or who/what they may hit when the wheels fall off).
I would believe you have a case for recall/replacement etc...
It's actually a serious problem. Keep us posted.

There is a certain irony in your first photo Ray. Right beside the crack is
a code number - which is the relevant Australian Standard....
Maybe cracks are 'as supplied'![]()

I really dont see any value in Alloy wheel rims for off-road use, if you have driven on these rims off-road and you make a claim against the Manufacturer I'll bet they will knock you back because they have been off-road, a lot of companies that manufacture off-road vehicles and equipment have somewhere in the fine print that their warranties don't cover off-road or commercial use, look at Cooper Tyres they give you a 70,000 klm + mileage guarantee on their Off-Road tyres ONLY if you dont leave the Bitumen, if you don't get any joy contact Fair Trading in your area, Regards Frank.
