Just drove my first TD5.....I have to have one

OK so I have just test drove my first TD5. A 2000 model with about 130k. All in all I was impressed. Impressed enough to know that I am selling one of the family Audis for one. I figure if a 2000 model with that amount of k's can feel that solid then a later model with less k's must be fantastic

BIG! They are big but I need that to fit fishing gear etc (that's the excuse I'm giving the wife) to allow me to get one...

So, I start my search for a late model TD5....preferably with ACE. Must be a seven seater and I would like a model with all the good gadgets. I will read up on the differences in the models now. A quick search on this marvelous site should give me all I need to know

edit - OK I would like the model with electric seats etc....and the new style lights with foggies in the front bumper. I am pretty sure they are from 2002 buy are known as MY2003. So MY2003 S model and above is what I am after. Oh, and it must be auto...

Anyone up for a little weekend fun?? To come and spend my money on a TD5. I am going to need someone to check them out with me. Any kind individual care to volunteer? I can pay you for your time

    Cheers
    Caine

Loom in the markets or speak to FenianEel on this site as he was selling (for a friend) a late Disco and I'm sure it was a TD5 - it had lots of goodies and was in mint condition.

Good luck and good choice, Mick

Go for 2003 on. The 03 head was modified and doesn't crack like mine did, apparently.
