    Well good news/bad news...

first house in rosewood we were looking at fell through and cost us better than $2k in inspections and crud...

pity, it was a nice place with a nice yard in a good area... but it fell through cause the current owner was unwilling to repair untradesman like repairs hed done himself previously and didnt want a bar of fixing the structural faults prior to sale..

    the good news..

we found a place in one mile $30k less in better condition and they just opened up a new development on the same street so the prices have all just hiked after we signed the contract....

we move in after the easter long weekend so im looking at beers'n'BBQ's after that and then will start to get my ass in gear to do that mil type 4x4 driver training stuff and start helping people out again...

for those who can I may need some help in doing some paving to make a servicing area for me to work on at home...

best of luck to everyone else everywhere and cant wait till i get my own net connection back... the withdrawal symptoms suck.

    more later......

    Dave

I was just thinking about calling you up and finding out if you were all still alive. Congrats on the house. I'll have to come up for a beer and a service just before the Indy carnival.

Good to hear you've found a place you like Dave. Bit far from Tailem Bend, I'll just have to be assistant remote supervisor. I'll wish you luck, and stay out of everyone's way.

    Shorty.

Good to hear you made it up here.

I'll have to drop those DVDs off to you sometime. Your paving day would be a good time if I am around no doubt.

now found a cheap reliable ISP so I can start contributing again...

but due to limits on the service I can only get on for 30 mins at a time...

my normally verbose and prose like posts will now be curtailed...

    Oh

for those who need to access hoists I can lay 2 on on every friday arvo for an hour or 2 for underbody checks... Thank you taxpayers and thank you my boss at RAAF base Amberly.
