I'd reply to this if I had time but I've got to go out to the shed and check my accelerator cable now, bye! :)

Thats the thing that gets me, I thought of the cable ages ago and grabbed the exposed bit between fingers and wiggled and all was ok it didnt appear loose. It took a very hard pull sideways with a finger hooked over it to get the slack out. Buggers me what was going on but now im scared to look further into it. All i know is it goes now and even my missus comentated on it tonight when i overtook someone. She looked at me and said 'its never done that before'.
Theres a landy troll living under my dashboard screwing around with it. Maybe this troll is what is causing the damn indicator noise.
On a better note you should see my new roofrack. Its huuuuuugggggeee.
Going round corners with it tied down on the way home made me feel like a tacking yacht. :p
You can try putting mousetraps under the dash, but if you catch the troll the Landy may never go again.
Cheers
Simon
Maybe i should have a troll poll :p
should i trap it or let it be in all of its natural troll splendour.
Well looks like I take a swan dive into the wifes foot well of her disco tonight..cheers mate good fix;)
Oh there will be pics but i desperately need four 9 inch spotties Lara Croft style to fill the void between the front roof and the rack. Stuart Diver could be up there for all I know. Next project is side steps so i can reach the thing.
I will be checking mine as soon as the boss gets home as ours recently has been missing a bit of pickup but that could be the extremely soft turbo hose that blows up like a ballon under pressure.(my mate and I dropped an infared camera in there a few days ago for a joke but I wasn't laughing as Ive just bought a lift and bigger rubber so no money for hoses...
My folks had a Nissan terano thingy once that 4 mechanics in their home town kept saying it was meant to blow heaps of smoke and have no acceleration.
Then I popped the bonnet and reconnected the waste gate control servo and it turned into a rocket with no smoke to be seen.
Cost my old man about $1100 at one of them to have the pump adjusted and dyno tuned.
