Pool pumps

Hey, i was searching for a repair manual for my davey power ace 150 pool pump and came across this post. My bearings are dry and need to be replaced but cant see how to get the impeller or rear motor fan, just wondering if you had yours apart before you replaced it ?

Yes.

IIRC you just have to kind of pull / lever it off the shaft.
I can;t be sure though - it was a while back.

I got the impeller off easy enough (just unscrews) but cant see how to take it apart to get to the bearings.

Sorry but my instruction books etc are packed away at the moment, otherwise I;d have a look.
