6). Get rid of the roof rack
7). Get rid of the roof, shouldn't be to difficult with a 'fender
8). Back to regular ride height
9). Report the builder to the MBA (or whatever) for making the building too low... then get it fixed....

quick story: a bloke I know (an architect) did a shopping centre in Mosman (Syd) some years back and was very mindful of roof height - given that most Mosman mums drove large 4wds

Daily driver: a Defender 90 on road tyres

I went to Perth last year for a ball and stayed at the Sheraton for a couple of nights.

The D3 was too tall for their underground carpark (I still had the tent on!) and usually they'd make you park in the Council's outside carpark.

But because it was a D3, the valet dudes insisted that it be parked in the limo bays at the front door. Free of Charge. They'd even go and get it and drive it the 10m or so to the door when I wanted to go.

Go on, get yourself a D3. You won't be disappointed!

There's a car called a small Vulva? Sounds like a euphemism for anything Mitsubishi made with an Astron 2.6!

1. Didn't think of that.
2. We considerered that - its one of those spiral ramps. We decided other tenants may not enjoy tram tracks that suit 35" tyres Imagine recovering those that bellied out every day.
3. Yep thought of that, wouldn't that be fun every day
4. Did actually consider dropping down to 235/70/16s for round town. Decided the novelty of changing every Sun night would wear off after a yr or two,
6. Nth Sydney parking fuzz can be vicious.

Didn't know where you were Tusker, (do now) but I know North Sydney very well - point 5 stands!

North Syd is probably not the perfect place for a big 'fender.... but there was one in the new mum club (my wife was in) in the mid nineties..... all the others bar our Disco were big jappies...... until she got a Laser..... and her best mate acquired a 316 BMW (don't go that way).......

How is North Sydney, kinda miss my old home, sometimes......
