An old Volvo isn't a theft target either. Hey I'm not a big fan of them but I do admit they are really under-rated cars.
Do Not- repeat, Do Not, under any circumstances, buy a volvo with the V6. Overheating problems galore, and very thirsty for not much power.
The 4 cyls, on the other hand, seem to be OK. Many still going strong, even the turbos.
