freighting a motor Perth to Newcastle

    Gday All,
I am looking at buying a TDI motor, problem is it is in Perth and i am in Newcastle, so it rules out my chances of checking it out before buying it and also leaves the question about frieght, Anyone had a motor transported across Australia? any suggestions on who to use and ideas on what it would cost me?

    Thanks,

    Mick.

engines are easy - I got a Isuzu NPR truck motor from Brisvegas to Sydney for about $100 in the past.

Just make sure they are on either a skid or pallet.

Don't know if it is still the case, but shipping from WA to east coast used to be relatively cheap. Because a lot more goods were transported over there, than back to the east.
